Healthy and Soft Hair from Home

Does your hair need a boost? Try some of our home remedies to keep it soft and shiny.

Mix 1/4 cup of olive oil with two eggs and comb it through your hair. Wrap your head in a towel and let it sit for 15 minutes. Shampoo and then condition normally.

Mix one cup of fresh lemon juice (or vinegar) with 1/4 cup honey. Let sit on hair for 10 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and condition. This treatment should be done every three to four weeks, but no less than that.

Mash a ripe banana and add 1/4 teaspoon of almond oil. Comb through wet hair. Cover with a towel for 15 minutes, shampoo and condition.

If you have brown hair, make your hair look vibrant by adding 1/4 cup Hershey’s Cocoa Powder to your daily shampoo. Rinse, then condition.
