Red Ink and Dye Removal
Most moms know that the discovery of red ink or dye stains can send shivers up your spine! Especially when you find them on your clothes, sofas or carpet. I’ve yet to find anything that guarantees to get rid of red ink although one of several solutions just might work.
Here’s one. Take dish detergent and rub on the stain. Step two, pour boiling water on top of it. If this doesn’t do the job, grab your salt and bar of soap. Try rubbing hydrogen peroxide on the stain. I’ve heard of others saying hair spray has gotten their stubborn red dye stain out. The same with milk. Something that may surprise you is that rubbing alcohol has removed some red dye stains. We still don’t have any guarantees, but maybe one of these will help you. Good luck!
