Time Saving Tip for a Working Mom

I remember the moment clearly. I was in the car with my co-workers and one of them said, “My friend just told me she lets her children sleep in the clothes they will be wearing the next day! EW!”

When I returned home I thought, “There really isn’t anything wrong with that!” That night I put the children in their school clothes and sent them to bed. They thought it was fun and were ready to go as soon as they got up! Why hadn’t I thought of that earlier?

We don’t do this every night – there is a bit of a “rumpled” factor some nights… but when I know we will be pressed for time, it is an amazing trick that saves us at least fifteen minutes in the morning.
