Eat Veggies for Stronger Bones
A recent Boston University study has concluded that a diet high in vegetables rich in vitamin K lower the odds for developing osteoarthritis. Examples of vitamin K rich vegetables include broccoli, spinach and endive.
Researchers found that individuals with high vitamin K levels in their blood were 30 percent less likely to develop hand and knee osteoarthritis than those with low K levels. To keep yourself healthy and reduce your osteoarthritis, eat at least one serving of a vegetable that is high in vitamin K.
