High Cholesterol Increases Risk of Prostate Cancer

According to a study in Milan, Italy, high cholesterol is associated with a 50 percent increase in the risk for developing prostate cancer. This study also found that men 65 or older had an 80% increased risk of prostate cancer. If your husband has high cholesterol, be sure he talks to his physician about prostate cancer detection and prevention.
