Ease Lower Back Pain During Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, chances are you feel lower back pain off and on. More than one third of women suffer from back pain during pregnancy. Unfortunately, 10 to 15 percent of these women develop chronic back pain. A recent study has shown that water aerobics reduced the back pain of pregnant women by 50% compared to the ones who exercised outside of the pool. Water exercise reduces the strain on a woman’s lower back muscles, bringing more relief. Talk to your physician before beginning any type of exercise program during pregnancy. He or she may decide that aquatic exercise is right for you.
