Mint – A Versatile Herb
The next time you go to a nursery, pick up a few mint plants for your garden and home. A sprig of mint is always wonderful to place in your iced or hot tea. Keep plants in rooms that need freshening – the mint will absorb odors.
For a nice cure-all on those days you just don’t feel well, boil mint leaves in water. They will turn dark green after boiling. Place in a quart jar and keep in the refrigerator. Use this as a drink to ease stomach trouble, headaches and more. This mint drink can be diluted with water and sugar can be added to it for taste.
