Do you think there is a chance you may be carrying twins? Sometimes just that feeling alone can tell you that you are. Of course, no woman should go through a pregnancy without proper medical care, but if your appointment is a few days away, consider these signs that you may be carrying twins:
Normal signs and symptoms of pregnancy may be exaggerated when you are carrying multiples. You may be extra hungry, you may be larger sooner, you may be more tired and might be more emotional.
Your morning sickness may be much worse with two babies rather than one.
After your first baby, you may be larger sooner with the second. But with twins, your belly may increase in size even more with your first child than your friend who is having her second.
If you are over 35 years old, you have a greater chance of carrying twins than if you were younger.
If you have taken fertility drugs, you chance of carrying multiples is increased.
If there are twins in your family, your chance of having twins is increased.
