Nancy Grace Hospitalized

Published by admin under Celebrity Pregnancy

Our hearts and prayers go out to Nancy Grace who is hospitalized for blood clots in her lungs as a result of her previous pregnancy. She was on her way to church on Sunday, when she had difficult breathing. Her husband says she is doing well. Nancy delivered twins on November 4th, three months early, due to complications. For some reason, we had not heard of her delivery, so a belated congratulations to Nancy Grace and David Linch.

**UPDATE: Nancy was released from the hospital on November 16th, is doing well and resting comfortably at home.

Jennifer Lopez Pregnancy Confirmed

Published by admin under Celebrity Pregnancy

Great pregnancy news for Jennifer Lopez and hubby, Mark Anthony. The happy couple formally announced at a concert earlier this week that they are expecting amidst rumors that have been floating around the internet for weeks. What is so funny, is there have been rumors about J.Lo being pregnant many times in the past, and I for one was waiting for the official announcement from their camp before sharing the news. This will be their first child together or should I say children. They may be pregnant with twins. Congrats to the new parents to be!

Aqua Dots Toy Recall

Published by admin under Product Recalls

Yet another popular toy has been recalled. Aqua Dots was set to be one of the hottest toys on the “Top Ten Christmas Toy List for 2007″, but not anymore. On Nov. 7th, 2007, Aqua Dots were pulled off the shelves as they contain an ingredient found in a powerful date rape drug when ingested and can induce unconsciousness, seizures, drowsiness, coma and death. Three children had to be hospitalized after swallowing the beads.

I can’t imagine how a family in Wisconsin felt when their baby almost died, after swallowing the beads. “I’m thinking, ‘A child’s toy just almost killed my little girl?’” Jason (her father) said. “In 15 minutes, she went from happy to, just, completely unconscious,” his wife added. From what I can tell from the article, Baby Riley ingested about 40 beads, many of which she vomited up later. Her parents believe that that may have saved their daughter’s life. Another frightening event happened when the grandmother went to a local store and found Aqua Beads still on the shelves. She insisted that they remove them and it wasn’t until she called the corporate office that they were finally removed.
