This clip has been floating around the internet in emails for some time and is continuing to do so. Perhaps some of you remember it. Because it is still circulating, we decided to do a little research on our own to find the truth in the matter. Is the picture real or a fake? According to Snopes, it’s 100% true. The text below the picture reads, “…worries about the effect on her unborn child from the sound of jackhammers,” as this expectant mother smokes a cigarette. Amazing! Warnings have been issued by the federal government specifically to pregnant women regarding the impact and harm done to a fetus when a woman is smoking during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester. If you are pregnant, think of your baby, and don’t smoke.
