My children also help plant our garden every year and enjoy taking care of it, too, even though they’re still not too fond of eating what they’ve grown, except the watermelon. They like digging in the dirt and watering and even weeding. I love to see their eyes light up when they run out back and see the new little plants coming up through the dirt! What a fun family activity and learning experience at the same time. The kids are growing carnivorous plants inside now. I’m hoping it will help with our ant problem! :)
