Actor Matthew McConaughey, 38, and girlfriend, Brazilian model Camila Alves, 25, welcomed a bouncing baby boy Monday, July 7^th at 6:22 p.m. This is the same day as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcomed their new baby girl, Sunday Rose. Matthew and Camila’s son, Levi Alves McConaughey, was delivered in Los Angeles, CA and weighed 7 lbs, 4 oz. Matthew shared the meaning behind the name they chose for their new baby, “Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person.” The proud new father added, “Our son was born at 6:22 pm, and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: ‘If thy eye be sing le, thy whole body will be full of light.’” And the middle name of “Alves”, of course comes from Camila’s last name, “We wanted to incorporate her family name,” Matthew explained.

Matthew announced yesterday, “A healthy baby boy was born! Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world- having a child and making a family. Now comes the greatest adventure- raising one, together.”

Back on January 15^th, Matthew blogged on his website about the newly-discovered pregnancy, “Got some blessed news.. a celebration of life and bounty.. a newborn conceived… yes, my girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together… it’s 3 months growin in her womb and all looks healthy and lively so far.. we are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child, being a mother and a father, and shepherding him or her through this life..”

Following Camila’s Malibu baby shower in June, rumors started about the distinct possibly of a baby boy in the couple’s future. Although Matthew and Camila carefully kept the gender to themselves during the pregnancy, it was hard to keep under wraps following her shower when all the gifts were blue. It was also reported the new parents had placed online orders for baby boy items, including an order for T-shirts and bibs with the word “Hunk” on them. Baby Levi is Matthew and Camila’s first child.

The Tennessee population just increased by one adorable baby! Actress Nicole Kidman, 41, and husband, country singer Keith Urban, 40, were blessed with a healthy baby girl this morning, July 7th. The couple’s brand new daughter, who they named Sunday Rose, came into the world (interestingly on Monday, rather than Sunday) in the city where they reside, Nashville, weighing 6 lbs, 7.5 oz.

During a concert in Nashville with Kenny Chesney on Saturday night, Keith was hinting about Nicole’s oh-so-soon delivery, “I’m going to dedicate a song to my very, very, very, very, VERY pregnant wife!” He went on to sing, “Better Half“ for Nicole in front of thousands. Then, this morning, on his website, the proud new daddy announced the exciting news, “Early Monday morning, Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today. More to follow..” According to a representative, “Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side, and mother and baby are very well.”

According to reports, Nicole’s family flew in from Australia over the weekend to be here for Sunday’s arrival. Nicole’s mother, Janelle, along with her sister, Antonia, came from Sydney to welcome the newest addition to their family. Nicole’s father stayed back in Sydney to care for Antonia’s four children.

Nicole shared during her pregnancy that her first trimester was a difficult one, plagued by “severe morning sickness.” The gender of the new addition wasn’t unknown before delivery, but Nicole wanted to keep it private. “I know [the sex of the baby], but I’m not sharing,” she said.

Baby Sunday is Nicole and Keith’s first child together and also the first biological child for each of them. Nicole has two adopted children, Isabella (15) and Connor (13) from her previous marriage to actor Tom Cruise. During her marriage to Tom, Nicole suffered a miscarriage soon after they were married, before they chose to adopt Isabella and Connor. Nicole and Keith wed two years ago on June 25th in Sydney, Australia.

A very pregnant Angelina Jolie, 33, was admitted to the “very modern” Lenval hospital last week and will remain in the Santa Maria maternity clinic for at least the next few weeks. Angelina arrived at the seafront hospital, which is nestled among palm trees and located in Nice (in southern France), by helicopter around June 29^th. They landed on the rooftop helipad of the hospital, miraculously without the paparazzi even catching a glimpse! The expectant mom is reportedly being kept under close doctors’ surveillance and is catching up on some much-needed rest.

The Brangelina twins may not be arriving for a little while, though, despite the hospitalization. According to Angelina’s obstetrician, Michael Sussmann, during a brief five-minute news conference on July 2^nd, the hospitalization has been, “scheduled for a long time.” Her doctor also said, “Mrs. Angelina Jolie and her husband, Mr. Brad Pitt, told me to tell you that she is doing absolutely fine,” apparently unaware of the couple’s marital status. “This is not an emergency situation. Her hospitalization at this stage in her pregnancy is totally normal for a patient who had a Caesarean during her first pregnancy,” he said. Angelina will continue to stay at the Lenval hospital until the twins are delivered, “in the weeks to come.” He added the couple has four suites (located on the fifth floor, overlooking the Mediterranean), including suites for their security guards. Brad has been spotted coming and going at the hospital over the past week, with some of the couple’s children accompanying him.

Angelina, Brad and their four children have been staying in the Miraval Estate villa in the French hamlet of Correns (also in southern France) since April, where they may be planning to stay for an extended period of time following the arrival of their newest additions. This was confirmed by Corren’s mayor, who also revealed a helicopter has been observed taking off and landing at the Miraval Estate villa. Correns is approximately 60 miles from Nice, France. The mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, said he is honored to sign the twins’ birth certificates after their arrival.

It wasn’t long ago when Angelina’s Kung Fu Panda costar, Jack Black, slipped up by telling the world Angelina was expecting not one baby, but two. And then, another costar, Dustin Hoffman, revealed the twins’ due date as being August 19^th. Although not confirmed, rumors of the babies genders have been going around of them both being girls. Angelina and Brad’s twins will join their three adopted siblings, Maddox (6), Pax (4) and Zahara (3), along with biological sister, Shiloh (2), most likely within the new few weeks. Angelina’s most recent movie Wanted was released in theaters just last month.
