Campbell Brown Pregnant with 2nd Child
It doesn’t seem like all that long ago that we reported news on Campbell Brown’s first pregnancy. The CNN news reporter, and husband, Dan Senor are expecting their second child. They have a son Eli who is 10 months old. While visiting Jon Stewart on the “Daily Show”, Brown said, “I’m pregnant! We just came out of the closet, so I’m happy to share the news. We’re pretty excited.” Brown isn’t the only reporter in baby news headlines. Tara Brown (40) from 60 Minutes, the Australian version, and husband John McAvoy, have a new baby boy, Jack Cooper. Co-worker Peter Overton and wife Jessica are also expecting a child. Congratulations going out to all.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a voluntary recall on Delta drop-side cribs due to suffocation and entrapment risks. The CPSC has reported the death of an 8-month-old child who became entrapped and suffocated when the drop side of the crib detached due to missing safety pegs. Two other entrapment incidents have been reported. The Delta cribs in this recall include cribs from 1995 to 2007. If you purchased a Delta crib new, second hand or one was given to you, please check the model numbers at the CPSC site to see which models are involved in the recall.
Canadian actress Caroline Rhea was gifted a little ray of her own recently. She and her longtime boyfriend Costaki Economopoulo welcomed a baby girl in New York on the 20th, weighing in 8 pounds, 15 ounces and measured at 22½ inches long. They chose to name her Ava Rhea Economopoulos. With that mouthful of a last name, Caroline sought to make her first name simpler, saying “We wanted the shortest first name possible, since her last name is the alphabet.”
