That depends on who you ask. There have been some reports that songstress Ashlee Simpson-Wentz (29) and rocker husband Pete Wentz (24) have had their baby. A representative for the couple are denying that the rumors are true.

Fueling the fire, “Life and Style Weekly Magazine” reports that a close friend of Pete’s said he was texting his friends telling them that his wife was in labor, over this past weekend.Our sources are saying that Ashlee was due two weeks ago.

The “Daily Dish” at sfgate.com states that on November 18th, sister, Jessica Simpson was quoted as saying that Ashlee is about to induce. As with most over due moms, she is ready to have her baby. No doubt things will happen very soon. We shall keep you posted!

“Carrying a child is the most inspiring, emotional, amazing experience of my life,” Simpson wrote on her MySpace page. “My weight and my pant size are the absolute last thing I am concerned about. I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.”

UPDATE: It’s official the Wentz’s have a baby boy! According to People Magazine, last night (Thursday) Ashlee and Pete’s new son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz was born. He weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long

“Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!” a spokesperson tells PEOPLE. Simpson once told People in an earlier interview that she wanted a big family. Her father, Joe Simpson, presided over their Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland-themed Wedding. Their Winnie the Pooh themed baby shower was held Nov. 1st.

Congratulations to Pete and Ashlee. They must be over the moon!
