christina aquileraGrammy Nomination Concert Live’s red carpet extraordinaire, songbird Christina Aguilera shared a little on the challenges of being a working mom. She shared that although her situation may be a little different than the standard working mothers out there, she feels much of the same levels of stress and works just as hard to find moderation between her home and work life.

“It’s a tough thing,” the 27-year-old mom to Max Liron, coming up to 11 months this week, digresses. “He puts his arms up and everything. I had a moment leaving him today to get ready for tonight of missing him, but every working mom goes through it…They know what it feels like.”

When those unavoidable moments of childhood anger or sadness appear, Christina has a very special song she plays for Max to assauge him.

“I do hum one thing in particular,” she is quick to share. “It’s from the Mary Poppins soundtrack called, ‘Stay Awake.’ Itʼs the lullaby from the movie and I’ve always loved that song.”

Someday Christina hopes that she can share the immense enjoyment and fulfillment she gets from her career and how integral her career is to who she is as a person with her son.

“I wasn’t going to give up who I was before I had the baby. It’s important to stay true to that as an example — also for my son to find out what his goals are, what he’s passionate about doing, so it’s sort of leading by example in that sense.”

Christina met her husband, Jordan Bratman, a music marketer, when he started working at her music label in 2001. They began dating in early 2002, got engaged on Valentines Day weekend in 2005 and married in Napa Valley, CA. in a beautiful ceremony on November 29th of the same year.

Max Liron Bratman was born on Saturday, January 12th, of this year at 10:05 pm at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. A week later they held the Jewish tradition Bris for their bouncing baby boy.

Max Liron translates into “My Greatest Song” in the Hebrew language.
