Naomi Watts Has a Second Baby Boy

Naomi Watts and Leiv Schreiber welcomed their second baby in just 16 mos. on Saturday, weighing in at a healthy 7 lbs. and 3 oz. Naomi’s representative assured the public that, “Both mom and baby are doing great.”

Naomi and Liev met on the set of the movie, “The Painted Veil” in 2006, a movie they both starred in. It was love at first sight apparently, as they have been inseparable since that time.  The couple had their first son together, Alexander Sasha Pete, on July 25th, 2007, and interestingly enough, refused to confirm their second pregnancy until right before the birth, although it was obvious. Schreiber finally brought it up in an interview this month, saying, “Our first baby came early and I suspect this one will as well. Life gets a lot busier, but it also gets more enjoyable in many aspects.”

Naomi, age 40, is known best for her roles in the movies “Mulholland Drive”, “The Ring”, and “King Kong”. She is known as the “queen of remakes” because she has done so many. She is next scheduled to appear in a remake of “The Birds” by Alfred Hitchcock.

Liev, age 41, is known well for his roles in the Scream trilogy, “The Omen”, and “X-men”. Schreiber told The New Yorker in 1999 that “I don’t know that I want to be an actor for the rest of my life”.  He has since been pursuing a career as a director.
