Charlotte Church Has a Baby Boy

Yesterday was a joyful day for Charlotte Church and boyfriend Gavin Henson. Charlotte gave birth at home to a vibrant baby boy, weighing in at 7 lbs., 5 oz. He came just after midnight on Sunday, and the happy couple christened him Dexter Lloyd Henson after a family member.

Charlotte and Gavin also have a 15 month old little girl, named Ruby Megan, who arrived in September of last year. Charlotte has expressed numerous times on her joy being pregnant and being a stay-at-home mom, which she will return to after her second child birth and delights in to no end.

She shares, “I love singing and I always want to do that, but my family is more important to me as I don’t want to neglect my responsibilities as a mother. I’ve just been at home, cooking and cleaning and looking after my gorgeous little baba.”

Charlotte and her beau first announced her pregnancy back in June, along with their intention to take part in their second home birth. They opted not to know the sex of their baby beforehand. Charlotte has been quoted as saying she would like to be done having babies by age 32, and wants a total of 4 to 6 children, with Gavin opting for 8.

Charlotte Maria Church is from Landiff, Wales, and is best known for her music career. She has many albums out and has dabbled quite a bit in acting with various television and movie appearances. She has also written an autobiography.   Her latest work has been on a variety show that she began working on in 2006, called The Charlotte Church Show.
