Jennifer Garner Welcome a Baby Girl

On the 6th of this month, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck welcomed a baby girl, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck into their world. Seraphina is little sister to Violet Affleck, now 3 years old. The happy couple has kept most details about their newest arrival pretty hush-hush, which is not much of a surprise, since Garner is well known for keeping a tight lid on her private life.

Victor Garber, Garner’s co-star in Alias, and close friend went on the record about the joyous occasion, saying, “I talked to her and she’s doing great. “It was a much easier birth, which I guess is true of most second births – they’re easier. She sounded fantastic. I’m very excited.” He also gushed about the quality of the parenting soon to benefit Seraphina, “I just marvel at how they’re being brought up. What a wonderful mother Jennifer is, and what a joy it is to be around that family.”

Jennifer Garner is known best for her afore-mentioned tv show, Alias, and for starring in many movie roles, such 13 Going on 30, Elektra, The Kingdom, and Juno.

Ben Affleck got his start as a screenwriter and an actor. His credits include writing the screenplay for Good Will Hunting and consequently snagging a Oscar for best original screenplay. He is also known for starring in movies such as Mallrats, Armageddon, Dazed & Confused, and Pearl Harbor, as well as many others. He made his directing debut with Gone, Baby, Gone, in which he also co-wrote the screenplay.

Jennifer and Ben met on the set of their movie, Daredevil, and were engaged after 9 months of dating bliss. They were married on the Carribean islands of Turks and Caicos on June 29th, 2005.
