Octuplet Mom Speaks

More news is surfacing about the 33 year old mom of octuplets. Nadya Suleman has left the hospital where she gave birth and has had her first interview with Ann Curry of “Today.” It is reported she will not receive payment for the interview. Suleman has hired publicists while she considers all offers including TV interviews and possibly a book deal.

Suleman has six other children, all of whom were conceived in vitro just as the octuplets were. The father of the first four is listed as David Solomon, while no information has been offered about the father of the remaining children. Suleman has been divorced once and used several different names over the years. Her mother has said that she believes the general opinion will change once her daughter has a chance to speak. Her neighbors, despite her obsession with having children, have referred to her as sweet and is someone who usually waves to them.

It will be several more weeks before the eight babies are ready to leave the hospital since they were born nine week prematurely.
