Tiger Woods Welcomes Son

Tiger Woods and Wife Elin welcomed their first son, Charlie Axel on February 8, 2009. The couple met at The Open Championship in 2001 and married in 2004 in the Caribbean. In June of 2007 Tiger and Elin welcomed daughter Sam into the world. Woods said, “Both Charlie and Elin are doing great and we want to thank everyone for their sincere best wishes and kind thoughts.”

Tiger Woods’ began his professional carreer in August 1996 and won the “Masters Tournament” the following April. He was the youngest player to ever win that championship. Woods had reconstructive knee surgery in June and is hoping that he is ready to play in the next Masters.
