Brad Paisley and Wife Kimberly Williams Welcome a Boy

Joyful news for Brad Paisley and wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley who gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. Born on April 17th in Nashville, TN, weighing 9 lbs., 10 oz., their new son was promptly named Jasper Warren Paisley. Coming 12 days late, the new baby was named after Brad's grandfather, who provided him his first guitar and was his main source of encouragement.

The happy couple have one older son, William “Huck” Huckleberry, born February, 22, 2007, who was reportedly very excited to get a playmate, and was the one to tell his father the big news in lieu of Kimberly.

“I said, ‘No, you don’t get it. This is really bad for you and I. This isn’t gonna be fun for us for the next nine months. We’re in for it,’” Brad joked upon hearing the news.

The baby coming late was unavoidable according to the singer, stating, “There’s nothing we can do about it. Well, there is, but we’re not doing that. We’re actually probably going to miss these times when things are simple. I mean you can’t put them back!”

Brad Paisley, age 37, is a Grammy-award winning country music singer and writer. He has had 13 number one singles on the country music chart over the years.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley, age 38, is an American actress best known for her roles in “Father of the Bride” and in many made for TV movies, including but not limited to: “Safe House” and “Christmas Shoes.” She has also starred as a recurring character on the show, “According to Jim.”

Brad first saw Kimberly in “Father of Bride”, with which ironically, he first viewed with a former girlfriend. Later, on a radio interview with Atlanta County Radio station, he said after viewing Kimberly's acting, he thought that "I'd love to marry a girl like her." After seeing, "Father of the Bride II", a few years later, he was inspired to write a song that referred to the movie and decided to do a video for that song. Naturally he thought of the person in the movie that had impressed him. Brad called Kimberly to see if she was interested in being in the video. Their talks turned into daily chats and before you know it, a romance was born. Kimberly appeared on the video for the song “I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin' Song) in 2002. They married on March 15^th, 2003.
