Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer Have a Baby Boy

Actor Tobey Maguire, age 33, and his wife, Jennifer Meyer, 31, received another bundle of joy in the highly anticipated birth of their first baby boy on May 8th.

“I can confirm the Maguires had a baby boy today, and the family is healthy and happy,” says the Spiderman star’s representative, Kelly Bush.

The family already held claim to a daughter named Ruby Sweetheart Maguire, born November 10th, 2006.

Jennifer, the daughter of Universal Studios president Ron Meyer and a successful jewelry designer, began dating Maguire in early 2003.

“They both are similar because they are very guarded around people they don’t know,” a friend of hers told PEOPLE magazine shortly after they met.

On September 3, 2007, after the birth of their firstborn, Ruby, they tied the knot in a beautiful destination ceremony on Kona, Hawaii.

Tobey Maguire is best known for his roles in movies, most notably as the star of the Spiderman series. He is also known for his love of poker, as he has placed in several World Series of Poker.

Jennifer Meyer is known best for her jewelry designs. Her signature piece, an 18-karat gold leaf charm was featured on Jennifer Aniston in the movie, The Breakup.
