Pacifiers Recalled
We have two pacifier recall alerts. The first is from Healthtex for their Zoo pacifiers which can come apart and cause a choking hazard to young children. If you a Zoo pacifier by Healthtex take it away from your child and contact Healthtex at (866) 348-5080 for a refund.
The next involves Gromex “Jaloma” pacifiers. About 700 pacifiers were recalled because the ventilation holes on the ring of the pacifiers are not big enough and do not meet federal safety standards. Although no injuries have been reported, the pacifier could cause a child to choke and are a hazard to young children. If you purchased a Gromex “Jaloma (printed on the pacifier)” pacifier from a retail store in New Jersey or New York between February 2008 and March 2009, take the recalled item away from your child and contact the company directly for a refund, (973) 458-9399.
