Molly Ringwald and Husband Blessed With Twins

Molly Ringwald and husband, Panio Gianopoulos, welcome not one, but two lovely children into the world on Friday, July 10th.

The happy mother gave birth to twins naturally, according to E Online News. The fraternal twins are named Adele Georgiana and Roman Stylianos and join sister Mathilda Ereni, who is 5 years old.

Molly, age 41, first announced her pregnancy January 23, 2009.

She is best known for her 80′s iconic movies, “The Breakfast Club,” “Sixteen Candles,” “Pretty in Pink” and most recently has been starring in the show “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.” Consequently, producers of the show proved to be quite accommodating and wrote her pregnancy into the show.

Panio Gianopoulos is an editor and Greek-American writer. They were married in 2007 in Italy.

Molly seemed very excited about the pending birth of her babies.

“I actually think it’s a good thing considering we’re having twins,” Ringwald, told Fit Pregnancy in June. “It would be so much harder with a toddler than with an almost 6-year-old,” she said. “It’s exciting, especially since it’s a boy and girl … It’s the best of both worlds.”
