Are Cell Phones Safe to Use When Pregnant?
Although the CDC has said that there is no evidence that cell phones are dangerous when used in pregnancy, a recent study suggests otherwise. A researcher from UCLA concluded from a study of 13,000 pregnant women that those who regularly used cell phones were at greater risk of having children with hyperactivity or behavorial problems. Because there are few studies on the issue since cell phone technology is so new, more studies need to be done to prove the theory. Still if I were pregnant, I would opt to use headsets instead of placing a cell phone directly against the ear.
