Baby Number Three for Elisabeth Hasselbeck
Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her ex-NFL quarterback hubby, Tim, have welcomed a new baby boy into the fold on Sunday afternoon in a New York hospital.
Isaiah Timothy joins 20-month old brother, Taylor Thomas, and 4-year old sister, Grace Elisabeth at home.
Weighing in at 7 lbs., 7 oz., all went smoothly for the new infant and his View co-host mother.
“Elizabeth and Isaiah are doing great,” Tim commented after the birth.
Elisabeth first proclaimed her pregnancy back in January on a live broadcast of The View.
“We were thoroughly happy with the surprise of it,” she announced. “I didn’t even know for two months — I was walking around — I thought I had — I kept saying, Electionitis, electionitis.’”
“I was tired, I was nauseous, I thought I was worn out from the whole procedure,” she added, “No. I was knocked up and didnt realize it.”
Tim Hasselbeck is the brother of Seattle Seahawks primary quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, and is best known through his role as starting quarterback for a variation of NFL teams, including the New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills, and Philadelphia Eagles.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is most well-known for being a Survivor:Australia contestant and then for her controversial debates as co-host on the The View with various different hosts and visitors to the show. Although she does not label herself conservative politically, rather regarding herself as an independent thinker, often times she is found on the opposite side of a debate with a liberal opponent. These debates often become very heated and garner a lot of publicity.
She also has written a book about her exploration, discovery and recovery of celiac disease, which is a chronic allergy to gluten. With her harrowing experience with the disease chronicled accurately and with inspiration, she has become somewhat of a representative for other celiac disease sufferers.
