Celine Dion Announces 2nd pregnancy

Celine Dion has announced that she is expecting another child with her husband and manager Ren’e Ang’elil.  This is their second child that was conceived via fertility treatments in New York.  Their first son, Ren’e-Charles, was conceived via in vitro fertilization at the same clinic eight years earlier.

“We can confirm she is pregnant,” said her spokesperson, Murielle Blondeau, who added that the singer and her husband are “very happy”.  The new baby is set to debut in May.

Celine, 41, and Ren’e, 67, married in the Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal on December 17, 1994 and Dion’s first child, Ren’e-Charles, was born on January 25, 2001.  Her husband has three other children by previous marriages.

Celine Dion is best known as a singer with an extraordinary vocal range. It is said that she can hit every note on a piano. She launched into super-stardom after her hit “My Heart Will Go On,” was linked to the best-selling movie “Titanic.”

Celine Dion is the youngest of 14 children.
