Teacher Selling Grades

I know times are tough but this is insane.  In Trenton, New Jersey, a thirty three year old teacher from Colts Neck High School has been accused of collecting more than $1,400 from students during the 2009-09 school year.

Megan Laboy told her students that extra credit was theirs if they would cough up the money and that it would be given to charity, according to law enforcement.  They indicate that Laboy pocketed the money, instead.  She is charged with third degree theft by deception.  The teacher has been let go, by the school district.
