"18 Kids and Counting", the Duggars Add Another Baby

8 months after giving birth to her 18th child, Jordyn-Grace, Michelle Duggar joined Weight Watchers to try to eliminate some pregnancy weight. After seeing no results and feeling rather ill and tired, she decided to take a simple test out of curiousity.

She broadcasted her 19th pregnancy on Tuesday via the “Today” show.

“I’m feeling sick and tired, which is a good way to be feeling about right now,” Duggar told Meredith Vieira, co-host. “I always tell myself that’s a good way to be because that means good things are happening.”

Michelle’s older children suspected the incoming pregnancy long before she did, but she was skeptical.

“I was wanting pickles and the older girls were saying, ‘Mom, you only crave these at the very beginning of being pregnant, You kept it from us before, now tell us. Are you?’” recalls Michelle, “And I kept telling them I wasn’t. I just wanted some pickles.”

With Michelle & Jim Bob’s oldest son, Joshua and his wife Anna expecting their first baby and the senior Duggar’s first grandchild — the family is starting to resemble the movie, “Father of the Bride 2″. The expectant grandchild has been given the beautiful name Mackynzie Renee.

“I think it is going to be awesome, it is going to be great,” reports Joshua on the prospect of his daughter having a new younger aunt.

“We have been looking forward to the arrival of my little girl and to now get to celebrate for my parents, it’s a wonderful thing.”

“I love all of this, it is so fun,” says Michelle. “Anna and I will have babies five months apart. My mother and my sister were pregnant at the same time and it was really wonderful. The kids were really close and still are. I have a nephew who grew up with me, we’re just three months apart.”

Duggar baby No. 19 will arrive in the spring which brings the time Michelle Duggar has been pregnant in her life to 12 years total.

“We are so thrilled,” gushes Michelle, 42, “We just couldn’t believe it is happening.” Jim Bob, 44, agrees, “This never gets old. We are so grateful for each child. We are looking forward to our first grand baby and our 19th child.”
