41,000 Baby Jogger Strollers Recalled
A voluntary recall has been issued by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and Baby Jogger for their Baby Jogger City Mini single and double strollers. There is the possibility that the latch or buckle on the stroller can break or unlatch. The concern is that this could cause serious injury to a child if they were to fall out of the stroller. No injuries have been reported to date.
About 41,000 Baby Jogger strollers are involved in this recall. They were sold at various department stores, online at Amazon.com and other various websites from Nov. 2007 through July 2009.
The words, “City Mini” is printed on the stoller. Take a look at the item number and compare it to the numbers on the CPSC website to see if yours has been recalled. If you have one of these strollers stop using it and contact Baby Jogger to get a replacement restraint buckle, at 877-506-2213 or visit their website at Baby Jogger.
