Interesting Name Choice for Ritchie’s New Baby

Nicole Ritchie and beau Joel Madden can add another unique baby name to their family, as the celebrity couple celebrated the birth of their new baby boy titled Sparrow James Midnight Madden.

“In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009 Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden,” was written on the new mommy’s website, with the addition, “He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes.”

It is a 2nd child for Nicole, 27, and Joel, 30, as their first child Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born on January, 11th, 2008. Harlow weighed in at 6lb., 7 ounces, in comparison to her bouncing baby brother.

Nicole Ritchie is best known for being the socialite daughter of crooner, Lionel Ritchie, and her roles in the TV series “The Simple Life,” opposite Paris Hilton.

Joel Madden is the lead singer and producer of the band Good Charlotte.

Wasting no time announcing his joy over the birth of his baby girl, the happy Daddy rejoiced, “I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister. God has truly blessed my family. Hope you’re all feeling as good as I am right now.”
