First the parent is at fault for not being more aware of her child. Puppies chew it is in their nature. This puppy should never have been put down because of this. He is an innocent just as much as the baby. I am sure this is because of the puppy being a pitbull. I am appaled that this has occured. I am even more appalled that the pup was put down. After all, a baby gets up many times during the night. Was she starving the baby as well???? I remember times when my baby slept later than normal b/4 a feeding and I woke up in a panic, knowing the baby hadn't cried yet...... I just can't imagine not waking up to hear your baby scream!!!
