Gosselin Puppies Back to the Breeder

It is reported that Jon Gosselin has returned the family’s German Shepherd puppies to the breeder.

The reality star dad had decided that the two dogs, Shoka and Nala, were not being cared for properly when he is away from the family house.  Jon reportedly told E! News, “It’s not fair to the dogs to not be wanted in their own home.”

Earlier this summer when the family was under scrutiny from animal rights groups for letting the children play too rough with the animals.  Jon Gosselin responded, “We understand the responsibilities of being good dog owners. Whenever my kids are with Shoka and Nala, everyone is carefully supervised to ensure that no one – dog or child – is injured. Shoka and Nala are loyal companions who we consider members of our family. We would never do anything to hurt them, and treat them with the respect and love that they deserve,” he said.

“They would stay in my family and I wouldn’t give them to anyone else,” said Jeff Christopher, the breeder. “They asked me to take care of them and I will. I have a farm house that they love, plus a lot of their brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts and uncles live here.”
