Amy Adams Pregnant, Expecting First Child

A representative for Amy Adams has confirmed pregnancy rumors.  Adams and fiance Darren Legallo have been together for seven years after meeting in an acting class.  The couple became engaged in 2008.  No word yet on the due date of their baby.

Most recently Adams had signicant roles in two movies back-to-back starring Meryl Streep, "Doubt" and "Julie & Julia". She also starred in, "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian".   Adams, 35, will next be seen in the romantic comedy, Leap Year, which hits theaters on Jan. 8.

Amy Adams was raised in Colorado by Morman parents who moved from Italy, where she was born, to America.  While she has seven siblings, she says, she isn't planning on having a big family.
