Toy Truck Recall: Super Rigs Play Sets
There is yet another toy recall due to lead paint, a toy truck labeled “Super Rigs Play Sets”. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with the distributor of the trucks, Variety Wholesalers, have issued the recall. No injuries were reported. The toy trucks were sold at discount stores in the Southeast for about $20 and were manufactured in China. The truck�s violate federal lead paint standard and contain high levels of lead.
Consumers are urged to take the toy away from their child and return to the place of purchase for a full refund or contact Variety Wholesalers, the distributor of the trucks, at 800-678-7776.
