Godiva Mother's Day Giveaway
In celebration of Mother’s Day we are giving away a lovely basket of Godiva Chocolates. What mom doesn’t love Godiva Chocolates? I know, I do. We had a lot of trouble trying to decide on this basket, since Godiva now makes baked goods and yummy Chocolate Mousse. Our Godiva giveaway will end at the end of Mother’s Day at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
To enter leave a comment about a special Mother’s Day memory. It doesn’t have to be about your own mother. You could have a special memory about your grandmother or your best friend’s mom that was like a mother to you.
Leave a valid email address so that we can contact you if you win. For extra entries, do any of the following and leave a comment that you did so (it’s the only way we know that you did it).

Theres this story that my mom is always telling me about the Mothers Day when I was 4 years old. She told me that my friend, Amanda, and I were in my bedroom with the door closed and she could hear us giggling, she knew we were doing something bad. This is the conversation that followed…
Mom: What are you doing?
Me: Nothing
Mom: You two had better not be drawing on the walls…
…silence…
Mom says that after a few minutes, there came a frustrated reply, in which I told Amanda… “I told you my mom could see through the walls”
She laughs about this every time I do something bad
When you need mom most, don’t forget she’s still a part of you.
Your mother is always with you…
She’s the whisper of the leaves
as you walk down the street.
She’s the smell of bleach in
your freshly laundered socks.
She’s the cool hand on your
brow when you’re not well.
Your mother lives inside
your laughter. She’s crystallized
in every tear drop…
She’s the place you came from,
your first home.. She’s the map you
follow with every step that you take.
She’s your first love and your first heart
break….and nothing on earth can separate you.
Not time, Not space…
Not even death….
will ever separate you
from your mother….
You carry her inside of you….
Everyday I have my mother with me is My Mothers Day. I have always been close to my parents, but when my father passed away my mother and I became even closer. She is my best friend and my mother. We get my daughters with us and we are just all “girls together”. We cook, we share stories, we play, we laugh, we cry, but most of all we love. It’s 3 generations of life and love to share, and I thank God and celebrate her on this mother’s day and everyday.

Well written. I think it is good to give flowers as a present because it has the most expression strength.
