I have to say the marketing professional who came up with this idea is an absolute genius.

Honestly, think about it. People seem to see pregnant women as community property. Expectant Moms are there to be ogled, discussed and fondled according to popular wisdom. I can't tell you how many times perfect strangers walked up and began petting my belly (once while intoning "Rub the Buddha for luck").

They would even lift my shirt to see my baby Bump in all it's stretch marked glory. If I was going to be subjected to that kind of inspection daily, I may as well have made some money from it (a therapy fund for my damaged post natal psyche perhaps?). So, belly bumps as ad space isn't that far out of an idea, is it?
