Christina Applegate Gives Birth to Baby Girl: Find Out Her Name!

Christina Applegate is one of the most respected actresses in Hollywood. We’ve seen her career explode from playing the quirky role of Kelly Bundy on the 90’s show Married with Children to starring as the lead role in her own hit comedy Samantha Who. Over the years, we’ve seen the bubbly blonde grow into an amazing woman who’s had to deal with significant personal struggles as well.

In August of 2008, Christina revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy (even though the cancer was only detected in one breast) and has, thankfully, made a full recovery.

Last Valentine’s day, Applegate announced her engagement to her musician boyfriend Martyn LeNoble. In July of last year, the couple announced they were expecting a baby and on Thursday January 27, 2011 that little bundle of joy arrived.

“Actress Christina Applegate and fiancé, musician Martyn LeNoble welcomed daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, in Los Angeles,” a statement released by the couple’s spokesperson reads. “Mother and daughter are doing great.”

Christina plans to combine her mother’s parenting skills with those of her close friends in hopes of covering best practices for all types of situations:

"I'll probably be a little bit hippie and a little bit Type A. I'll take from what my mother did, which was way hippie and like, 'Do what you wanna do,' and bring some things that I know from watching my friends raise their kids. An amalgamation of sorts."

Sounds like she’s on the right track aleady!
