Tori Spelling Involved in Paparazzi-Triggered Car Accident

Tori Spelling is the latest celebrity to have a frightening run-in with the paparazzi, and the expectant mom is not taking the incident lightly.

Spelling, who was dropping her children Liam and Stella off at school, was being followed by an aggressive photographer, when she got into a car accident that caused damage to a wall around the school and to her car.

Describing the event in her own words, Spelling tweeted, “Paparazzi chased me w/the kids 2school. I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident.”

“Took down whole wall of the school. He thn STILL got out to try to get pics. Going to dr now to check on baby. I think its just shock.”

Spelling appears to be okay, but is still shaken by the incident. She continued to update her Twitter page after the incident, questioning whether it will take someone dying before paparazzi will stop their aggressive behaviour.

It’s still not known whether Spelling will press charges over the incident. If she does, she will be in the company of celebrity mom Nicole Ritchie. In 2009, Ritchie accused two photographers of stalking her and her children at their home, yelling and attempting to scare her to illicit a reaction, and finally of rear-ending her car.

“I am fearful that [their] continued presence may cause yet another accident, this time with my infant children in the vehicle,” she told the courts.

Ritchie was ultimately granted a restraining order, which ordered the two photographers to keep away from her by a distance of 100 yards.
