Ryan Phillippe Present For Potential Baby Mama Alexis Knapp's Labor

Nothing juices up a celebrity childbirth story more than a little questionable celebrity parentage.  The paternity of twenty one year old Alexis Knapp's brand new daughter Kai still isn't official, but rumored baby daddy, Ryan Phillippe, was in the delivery room when the young actress gave birth this past Friday according to People Magazine.

Knapp, whose previous credits include Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif, Couple's Retreat and Look is still young enough to be playing high school and college students most of the time.  Her next films include a Miley Cyrus vehicle called So Undercover and Warner Bros. mysterious Project X.

According to sources of the U.K. Guardian, "Ryan took Alexis to her last doctor's appointments and was there in the hospital when she gave birth,' the source added. He's waiting for the DNA test to see of he's the father, but he's acting like he is."

Kai is Knapp's first child.  Phillippe, who is thirty six, has two other children with his ex-wife Reese Witherspoon, Ava, eleven, and Deacon, seven.  Witherspoon and Phillippe were quite young themselves when Ava was born, so it seems likely that they can relate to Knapp dealing with a seemingly unexpected first child at a young age.  Phillippe shows every signs of being a supportive dad, if he is in fact Kai's father.
