Britain's Amanda Holden Pregnant Again after Stillbirth Earlier This Year
These days, you won't find a wider smile than the one on Amanda Holden face. The Britain's Got Talent judge has recently announced that she is three months pregnant with a baby girl, something that has Holden in particularly high spirits, given her recent pregnancy devastation.
In February, the British star delivered her son when she was just seven months pregnant, and he was stillborn. Looking back, Holden describes the ordeal as the "blackest period of [her] life", but it looks like the tides have turned for her, bringing joy, confidence and relief. "I never dreamt it would happen so quickly," the 40-year old actress tells a British paper in an interview. The pictures circulating online show her glowing with joy as she keep a loving hand on her belly. She is confident that, after a series of reassuring scans, this time she'll have a healthy baby in her arms in another six months.
Any woman who has experienced the trauma of a miscarriage will appreciate just how happy and relieved Holden must feel with her pregnancy. After all, many women who don't carry to term struggle with emotional and physical roadblocks afterward, whether those are brought on by the trauma or traced to an underlying physical problem. Unfortunately, Holden has experienced more than one miscarriage, but she also has a six year old daughter named Lexi. Here at SureBaby, we're hoping that Holden's unfaltering optimism and never-give-up attitude will reward her with a new addition to her family.
