Sister Wives Family Welcome Baby Number 17!

Though it’s the first child for couple Kody and Robyn Brown, new baby boy Solomon is number 17 for the Sister Wives family!

The baby was born just after 2 am in the home the couple share in Las Vegas, and weighed 9lbs. 10.5 oz. “He’s perfect and we couldn’t be happier,” the proud new father said in an interview with People. “We are so thrilled.”

The new addition to the family brings the Brown family total count to 22 – Kody, his four wives Meri (who is the only legal wife), Janelle, Christine and newest wife Robyn, and 16 other children, including three children from Robyn’s previous marriage.

Despite being very open about their happiness, the family has faced scrutiny and even legal trouble for their polygamous lifestyle. In their previous hometown in Utah, they were investigated by police and were forced to file a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the bigamy law in the state. They have since moved to Las Vegas, where they are now forced to live in four separate homes.
