Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar Expecting Baby Number 20!

20 is plenty! Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have announced that, no surprise, they’re expecting again!

The stars of the TLC show 19 Kids and Counting (yes, the name will have to be changed again), made the announcement on the Today show.

“We are so excited,” Michelle, who is already three months along, exclaimed. ““Michelle and I both feel like some of the most blessed parents in the world,” Jim Bob added. “Our children are so sweet ... we are so grateful to God.”

While it’s not particularly shocking that the Duggars would have another child, many are surprised they actually went through with it, given the difficult time Michelle had with her last pregnancy, baby Josie, who was born at 25 weeks.

Despite the rough time, Michelle has gotten the okay from doctors on her current pregnancy, though she will have to have a Cesarean section for the first time, after Josie’s birth required an incision in her uterus that will prevent a natural birth.

So, is it even possible to shock the rest of the Duggar family with news of a new baby? Apparently so, as Jim Bob chose the appropriate time of a family photo to share the update.

“Their mouths dropped,” Michelle said of the moment just before the flash went off. “They all looked at me to see if he was joking.”
