Angelina Jolie Could Get Pregnant in 2012?

Leave it to Angelina to keep everyone guessing! The cryptic star’s photo appears on the cover of the January 2012 edition of Marie Claire, along with the headline “I could get pregnant again.”

But before you start speculating about the next member of the Jolie-Pitt clan (and what a clan it is, with six kids already!), some reports are clarifying that the statement just means it’s a possibility, not that it’s on the horizon for Angie anytime soon.

“Nothing planned at the moment, but we just don’t know. I could end up pregnant,” is reportedly how the quote goes, with Jolie also talking about how she loves her home life, but has also enjoyed her time working on her directorial debut “In the Land of Milk and Honey”.

While that’s certainly not definitive word, some are noting that it’s interesting Jolie didn’t talk about a plan to adopt, but went straight to talk of pregnancy. When asked whether premiering her movie in Bosnia made her want to adopt a Bosnian baby, she stumbled, “I, you know, it’s not something that’s uh, that I’ve thought of.”

Hmm…is the unflappable Jolie covering up something or keeping a secret under wraps? With husband Brad’s announcement that he plans to retire from acting in the next three years, we wouldn’t be surprised if the couple expand the family sooner rather than later.
