Woman Gives Birth in Moving Car While Husband Records It! [WATCH]

It’s official – there is no place where a woman can’t give birth! We’ve heard of trains, parked cars, bathrooms and more, but a moving car just might take the cake!

While on the way to their birthing center, located 45 minutes away from their home, Zachary and Jennifer Russell thought they had plenty of time before their new baby arrived. Jennifer’s last birth had taken 12 hours, but it just goes to show that you no two pregnancies are ever alike.

15 minutes into the drive, Jennifer was shocked to learn that the baby was on its way much quicker than they thought, and that she would have to deliver it herself.

“By the time my water broke, I pushed once and she was out,” she said. It was a very quick delivery and Jennifer was even able to unwrap the umbilical cord from around the baby’s neck. From there, everything went smoothly till they arrived at the center.

Don’t quite believe this story? Well, it’s all caught on videotape, thanks to a dedicated driving dad. Holding the steering wheel in one hand and a video camera in the other, Zachary Russell filmed the birth from start to finish.

While it may be dangerous to operate a vehicle and a video camera at the same time, after the baby was out, it was Jennifer who actually encouraged her husband to keep on driving and get them to the center.

Both mom and baby are doing fine, and according to her parents, baby Willow will have a special story to tell about her birth, along with a special gift. The couple says they want to pass the car on to their daughter when she’s ready. It has to be her first vehicle, Jennifer explained, “so she can tell everyone ‘Hey, I was born right there’.”
