Beyonce and Jay-Z Choose Pizza over Grammys!

What could be better than a trip to the Grammys? Well, for Beyonce and Jay-Z, new parents to daughter Blue Ivy, it was a quiet night out for some pizza.

On Grammy night, the couple were spotted in the Carroll Gardens area of Brooklyn at Lucali pizzarea. According to an article in US Weekly, the couple were just hanging out and chatting, playing it so low-key that many customers didn’t even notice they were there.

When they left, they made sure to say goodbye to the owner and wait staff, and gratefully accepted congratulations on their new baby.

Just like a regular couple, you might think. Well…not exactly. In other Bey and Jay news, the couple have recently trademarked their daughter’s name in a move some are saying is laying the groundwork for a future cash grab.

At SureBaby, though, we doubt that, especially considering the couple recently released pictures of their newborn on their own, rather than selling the photos to the highest bidding tabloid. We think they probably just wanted to prevent anyone else from cashing in on the baby’s name – which may include a strand of marijuana known as “Blue Ivy” that’s been popular in California since the baby’s birth!
