McDonald's Recalls "Shrek" Toys

Posted by admin

Due to the toxic metal, cadmium, McDonald's plans to recall approximately 12 million "Shrek" drinking glasses, thanks to federal regulators who discovered the metal in the toys. Cadmium poses significant health risks when ingested and can cause developmental problems in children. The "Shrek" glasses were offered at $2 each at McDonald's eateries throughout the United States as a promotion for the upcoming "Shrek" movie. Consumers are urged not to let their children drink out of the glasses and to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
