Weight Gain During Pregnancy
Posted On: 07/15/2008 11:59:44

I just read an article by the March of Dimes on the average weight gain during pregnancy.  The total average?  Between 25 and 35 pounds.  Of this, about 7.5 is baby, 7 pounds are fat, protein and nutrients, 4 is fluid, 2 is cleavage, 2 is uterus, 2 is amniotic fluid and 1.5 is placenta.

Honestly, I gained a LOT of weight with my babies.  I got up to 195 on my third... and I get wide rather than rounded - NOT a good look from the back.  Personally, I think most of my weight gain was from Taco Bell on my first!

Are you one of those who stays small and gorgeous, or do you gain a lot of weight?  And if you have gained, do you find you are eating one particular thing that is probably the culprit?  Or do you just get big no matter what you do or don't eat?
