im really worried and need help

i got off the pill to change to the contraceptive injection but i had to wait a month for my next period. But it hasnt come. im a week late, i have sore breasts, im very tried and a little bit moody and theres unusually thick discharge. im not sure what this means and i need someones help. i dont want to take the test incase its posistive but im a bit worried that i am

Hi Livi, welcome to the site.

Keep in mind that when you come off the pill, your body is going to have to go through an adjustment period as it gets used to regulating your hormones again. This adjustment could very well account for your sore boobs, moodiness and discharge.

Have you had unprotected sex since you stopped taking the pill?

Your period can be delayed by stress and the stress of worrying about whether or not you are pregnant just isn't good for you.

Take a test to get some mental relief when you see the negative result, or make a doctor's appointment for a blood test for a definitive answer.
