General Discussion | Desperate to be a father

Hello everyone although i find it awkward to join in the room for Mommies i believe most of you know better than me I am now 37 yrs old currently here in UAE i just got married july last yr to my wife who is 5 yrs younger than me she is in Doha Qatar (jeez i have always wanted to buy a diamond ring i didnt thought that when i bought one it comes with a wife hehehe) anyway, My wife has 3 kids with her previous marriage aged 14, 13 and 9. as for me i have none as i was still single when my wife got me cornered. well kidding aside i want us to have a baby already and we have been attempting alot! especially during my vacation last month recently my wife is already 10 days delayed most of the signs of pregnancy is there (as per my research) however she made several tests using the test strips during the 5th day it turned out negative which i told her maybe its still too early then during the 8th day her doctor asked her to undergo a serum test to which she was negative again then only yesterday her 10th day there was spotting... she was feeling depressed already as she wants us to have our own baby in these instances told her to keep the faith maybe these are false negatives only... is it right for us to hope or we are giving ourselves false hopes i dont want my wife to feel bad about it how you could enlighten me thank you in advance

is there a medical reason why your why has not been able to concieve? did she operate her self after her last? is she tracking her ovulation? if not, i recommened her to do just that to find out if she is ovulating or not. this will give her a reason and therefore seek medical help to simulate her ovaries with medictions like clomid.

I tryed to concieve since april of 08 abd finally got pg. now I am 6 weeks expecting our first bundle of joy, i am making my desperate hubby a father in july 2012

thanks jcasas0712 already we had several test and both of us was ok. we have been tracking her ovulation she even downloaded a software in her tab. most if not all the signs are with her but yesterday she had a spotting i have read that sometimes it happens especially when the embryo is embedding itself in the uterus. anyway thanks for the advise i would look into that.
